A recent interview with an older mother in Britain (via The Daily Telegraph ) offers an interesting take on the debate about age and motherhood, in particular whether there should be an age limit when it comes to choosing the option of IVF.

In 2008, Tollefson underwent IVF treatment at a Russian clinic. Using an egg from a donor and her partner's sperm, she went on to become pregnant at the very ripe old age of 57 and gave birth to a healthy daughter, Freya. 9 w% {7 f f5 k. t" M; Q" L+ W
