Employee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers. Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.) }; l! Z X4 { X
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
7 x) Y# _. _4 P! w% o% P* I• Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
. y7 e# ^9 E4 [• Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.6 }' k* v1 F9 F- s+ J3 n
• Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
% U0 K0 _- }8 Z" t, {o Test all new patch versions of software prior to release

• Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution." P- `+ ^) c: Y9 a

o Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

9 z: \( f" ]' \• Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products. In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.

o Act as technical applications expert on development team.

• Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person. To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.
