Scope and Purpose of Job
  c2 y) g0 ~; O9 t7 t- xEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.
% n4 [: V' G' U4 Z; `Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities
' m6 l" t. g8 u! A+ @% ^, T- ]•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.! \' Z/ U$ {( n! Z( ^: P$ X
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.. F1 i& W! S5 u. u
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
; @) s9 }' O% x0 j' f1 |3 |o        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release# S9 |. a. V3 @
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
, H8 F+ c. J7 B& \8 Q7 k- w•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.

- ]+ o2 q: y# P5 r1 T; lo        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed

+ `( |! D+ t+ T( L; e8 g2 y•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.% F, H% w3 L' o; J: A
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
7 d7 i/ c0 _1 V* y! C& C+ mo        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.; O4 J& T1 }) ?& ~
o        Assist in writing and new product specification' Y8 w' e1 d+ `. X! n
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.

•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.$ O3 L4 q+ C( u6 S; e( n- c& @

Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
! N2 K8 O9 n$ u& J: i5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
& G9 M2 Y1 w; pList of Skills/Qualifications          I4 a2 L3 ]) Y* k0 t5 ^4 N
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes./ t( n8 G+ I/ X1 f' E
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
# R9 j! m$ B5 G6 \# d* |0 e0 Y' |•        Proficient in software use and writing.
7 F, X3 d6 H2 m2 K•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.% Z$ f( j; T6 g: U4 S
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
