b* E; h6 v6 v! @6 V6 \Position Summary: Within the broad guidelines of Integrated Service Program funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and Alberta Employment and Immigration, the Receptionist/Immigrant Services Worker will answer a multi-line phone calls professional, politely, and directing the calls correctly; assist in clerical needs of the ISP team; assist with providing counter service and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker. 5 c0 R: {! l% d* h8 q5 ` H: |

Key Responsibilities:

• Take and deliver messages to the staff of ASSIST( G" S* N+ c9 A% P; U
• Welcome clients and direct them appropriately& \# i4 C& P6 ?1 A N. v* s3 ]
• Order and maintain office supplies for the front counter z" C" y& q1 n' C, S1 ?# v
• Oversee the front counter when other front counter staff are on holiday or in trainings
$ Z! [# @8 L- D' O) U$ y• Perform general clerical functions such as photocopying and faxing documents, u+ W$ r+ {3 E. ^) y9 n# e' V
• Provide assistance to immigrants and clients seeking settlement related services in the capacity of immigrant services worker$ ^5 b! E9 `0 b" ~
• Maintain and update the information boards with upcoming events) q: d4 N1 ]* M+ V
• Assist the ISP team in reminding clients to appointments of workshops or other events

• Report to ISP Program Manager

• Excellent communication (verbal and listening) on phone and in person; I7 U/ q" K8 t9 P" k% c, Z
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as an asset* p f) ]4 d( N( m; ~" T( h* \! C
• Good English writing and oral communication skills; A5 q% H7 K9 u- r0 O3 o: z# [
• Ability to work with newcomers and general clients8 p9 O+ j4 Q9 r
• Microsoft Office operation skills- Excel, Word, Outlook

• Sensitive to the needs of immigrants with multicultural backgrounds7 L' Q. l# h6 J$ b V
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced office environment

• 2-4 years of office and clerical experience ! p8 ~6 k( H3 U" `
• Receptionist or customer service experience in a fast paced environment' a2 Z" E- i+ ~0 u* P: C
• Demonstrate workplace maturity and professionalism
