The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

2 c! Z7 Z0 h8 d5 L# o) o• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
• Program implementation
5 k6 F* T1 a7 D• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
. u" ^6 f) M0 O• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
: Y) p* p* A) \# E8 ~8 X• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
. m6 H+ X5 s) J• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:
Education
• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
- a% H+ Z. }2 d1 s# ?2 hTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
, q! J% M- c& g2 Y) R( e% p• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
% z* q" c0 u: |5 G5 T7 v4 g• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
% S' m" p! f/ G; H• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training

• Good verbal and written communication skills
