The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

* q. D+ V8 F; j# p+ i, Y$ T, s• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
8 r' v7 d% y- K& W& U( H• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
# O# [& G8 p6 ^. T• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
8 ^5 `  P3 a8 k% O9 _" Q• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

" t# n  p* }  D% h+ C5 G" pMinimum Qualifications:
Education
- O5 l. W( \! z# [0 ]7 M0 @• Completion of a high school diploma
% X& D+ a( W' q3 k• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
6 O; K+ \! |6 m% w% oTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
4 A/ ]6 ?/ V( p; {6 A! ~% U. f" p' J• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
" H& Q4 A, p7 P. W2 l5 P4 ^! [6 j• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
$ N+ z, |; ?7 W$ O• *Medication Administration

• Good verbal and written communication skills
% G6 @( }6 s% q0 q0 }0 Y• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
