Duration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
& L$ C7 _, p5 A9 `5 zCamp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
/ D) I2 a7 }6 d, V# iTime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:

 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
% ]# h; K- r+ `. V Provide positive modelling to youth
) G6 q7 `% u! G9 T, q6 ^7 d( j Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
 Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
& M. f. q- V+ j. W. l4 G Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
+ j9 X: H& G) T. H3 k Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
* T7 o+ \2 ?2 C) | Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
' `' N4 H( @, k' ?1 ^4 }0 d) m1 P" [ Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
$ o3 A5 z9 H: A Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
3 o2 p/ ^1 @9 A  Z6 |! |! c Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

' V% Z* L& T' q) H# O Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
: @6 ?1 E5 n/ C. R$ M' F  ^3 i Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
, Q9 t$ h, s) f; X A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
 Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
, H4 e; i; A( R Able to work independently with minimum supervision
 Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
 Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
  s) n" g; X' S9 O2 b  w2 C Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
