Position:        Youth Leader
3 l# ~  N% {9 Y' @9 d- b  SDuration of Commitment:Summer T.A.N.G. Youth Program
- ]+ ~* e2 V8 {, \6 s& w& G2 b& |Camp 1 – July 04 – July 14
Camp 2 – July 31 – August 11 (must attend an overnight camp on August 10 to 11)
  V' o; F$ q1 o6 U" ETime:0915 to 1600(Regular Program Time)
( `- `" D' t5 F+ ]3 x% O2 x- F3 _6 r. Z*might work in other time in some specific days
Place: ASSIST Community Services Centre

Duties:
! n" z( o9 X# ~8 ]* `To assist the T.A.N.G. Youth Program Coordinator by providing clerical and/or activities support in the followings:
: [! b1 l: A( [* O' y
 Distribution of promotion flyers to schools, churches, communities and relevant social agencies and professionals
 Take attendance if available
+ l/ q* \- A  y5 d/ h" c Provide positive modelling to youth
! `, Z" A7 G# M" @: q: i5 }3 q1 z Facilitate or assist in ice-breaking games and/or other activities
8 `6 E0 }7 C( [ Facilitate or assist in small group discussions
 Research activities related to the session’s topic upon advice of the Program Coordinator
1 M, E6 N  [7 f# q. |# a Watch out on the safety of youth either in centre or fieldtrips
 Report to the Program Coordinator for any doubts or concerns and/or any troubleshoot behaviour
 Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program Coordinator
 Must follow guidelines or procedures stipulated in the manual/training
. |- P1 P) i, d! B/ Q6 i Attend debriefing sessions/ongoing training
 Assist in program planning/design
 Any other program related tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator

- |+ n2 E9 F: g1 ?0 v; i1 b Mature, sensible, patient, organized, willing to take and follow instruction
8 h4 T$ O6 w0 W& v7 b6 K! R Be open and willing to initiate and maintain a positive relationship with youths in the program, or youth who is matched on an one-on-one basis
 A team player, can get along well with other staff & volunteers
0 S, l& \5 G- @0 h2 E Concentrate efforts in the group session or activities over other distractions
- A" P7 T6 d. ] Able to work independently with minimum supervision
2 J6 C6 q6 C/ M8 Q6 T: I Value building on strengths in children, youth and families
6 {+ R# U; q! {0 U' [& o3 n$ L8 F; ] Able to get along with youth and/or youth who might at risk
 Certain proficiency in English and Chinese
