Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
* A% ^# }+ r# @% d/ C1 `$ }- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;
; d- A  W$ ^0 O3 X1 p$ |3 s- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.
- B$ a0 Z- O, ~+ P1 y9 u- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
