Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
/ V1 A) J9 v; [. T D/ i- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;( S! x! o" f" p: r9 l2 v- i
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.$ }6 Z. e9 ~- D
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.% e* Q) U# ^& ~+ z
