Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
' `1 P3 f( O5 I% ^. a+ X& w- u; b- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;0 i7 @$ U8 r2 p. {$ s5 G1 d& K Q2 U
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.
5 ], r8 o- b. L: }0 S- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff.
