Over last decade, I have used many window upgrade companies. Here are some of my suggestions:
% I1 k h! R6 Z7 g7 h- You really need triple-pane windows ,not only for the sound proof, but for the Edmonton winter. The price is not much differnt from double-pane but the performance almost doubled;6 M. _" G7 A: c2 B: H& V
- I have tried many brands of windows, Hometech, Economic Windows, All-Weather windows, Jeldwen (by Home Depot). The best would be Hometech. All-weather is also good but the price is too high lately. I just had one big bay-window by Economic Windows in this April. Looks great but don't know how good for the real winter.# l9 Q& Z h9 c/ q* J
- Stay away from craps like Durabuilt or Sunrise Windows. Cheap stuff. t' v6 S! S5 Q6 p8 l0 Y
