Vortec 4.8L VS 5.3L

看见最近employee pricing event,新车减价还蛮多的. 想买个sierra 1500玩玩.

不用来做work truck,但是会用来tow一些小的东西(像一些home depot的装修材料,小船一类的东西).
想知道Vortec 4.8L,5.3L两个发动机,哪个性价比高些..有没有哪位高人2个都开过一阵,significant difference in performance and fuel economy??5.3L那个引擎复杂些,会不会小毛病多些?

还有个题外话,其实最近到处都减价,买sierra因为感觉改装潜力大些(只改外表像大灯,lift,fender,rim之类的东西,外行,不打算发动机之类的),有没有人看见过改得好的Ram,F-150(新车)??

4.8是鸡肋，油耗跟5.3差不多，但马力和扭矩少了不少。 4.8和5.3其实是同一部引擎，只是缸径不同而已。另外，4.8和5.3只配4速自动，要6速自动的话，只有选6.0，6.2和duramax.
现在通用走的是保守可靠的路线；要油耗低，就考虑v6双涡轮的f150；要马力，扭矩以及性能提升空间就只能是hemi。
市面上对这三款truck的改装支持都很丰富，基本上你想要的都有，很多你想不到的也有不少。就是要注意很多lift kit里面的shock都是一些无名品牌，可靠性一般都不如oe，除非配上500多一条的bilstein。4英寸以上的lift都要切掉一截sub-frame并重新焊上，这样的改装都是不可逆的，所以要谨慎哦。

数据上油耗5.3L 和 ecoboost差不多,不清楚实际的.
还有现在的5.3Ldealer说是6sp, 网站上也是这么说, shark你说的是不是老款的.
今天谈了个价,新车5.3L crew cab 4WD with all terrain package, 3万6, 不知道值不值,过两天去试试ram.

想改sierra是因为就sierra (还有tundra) 容易改好看,像dodge和f150,感觉很整体,很难改好看..如果要截要焊的,估计是不会做了,打算就youtube看看自己DIY,看了视频,觉得装个灯,bull guard之类的不难.

要看你选什么样的配置了，按一般的规律来说，on sale的配置都比较低（可能是头一年的积压库存），所以一定要问清楚。

most important function of tonneau is incease aerodynamic performance and reduce fuel consumption.
second important function is accessbility. soft tonneau will allow abit of over size load, and easily warp up, so you can use your truck bed as much as possible when you need, and it wont take you too much speace to store. also cheaper( usually).

hard tonneau will provide some anti-theft ability, in case you always carry some valueable items in your truck box. they are not that easy to fold away or move away, also abit more expensive.
