/ @! _- w/ J" P+ a0 K) ?- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
7 E0 s0 V7 k8 t0 P* a- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.& E2 F' w0 m: {# _8 h
- develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- v6 S) S+ d/ L: b$ P* L- provide support to ISP staff. s1 h6 P- ~! t: G9 G6 W' U
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members% n, r. N/ Q7 h5 x. [% p4 e0 F
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
8 J9 [; ^6 l X" c# w- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated W! K( b( [) ?( C3 E
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants! {! V8 B9 Y% j: g1 Z
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals% s* d/ P" w1 z: g3 W! E
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder) j- q- U5 |: d6 F
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
M" s, o% y2 S0 z- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities% }6 K. Y8 f1 v, O/ F6 o e
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

Qualifications7 I- _! Y- L2 _; \ Y9 _* r6 Q
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered. I3 w' k" m2 P: C' n* D+ f2 Q
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available1 C2 [4 Z- V8 }6 X9 m
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers/ P: G$ h) p/ w: X; B
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
2 x* y8 H; N( G" R+ z* g% Z- A% e, L- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)

- good organizational and coordination skills+ x; i4 k, {6 f- A. z
