! \# n- ~9 Z$ w# q0 J- R- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
4 L6 H# X- q6 z8 P- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
% n3 t& e8 b( n3 m* |- u- provide support to ISP staff
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
( G6 v! O% @3 V; G- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
% \3 b+ Q3 V) r* ^- {& l; z5 L- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
& _* }/ T* Q: Q% a- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
' X3 e; e9 ^, Y, q* p- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned
/ J; D# ?$ o/ y; T- other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
' |' ~, c& W6 l- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
7 d5 P0 u& ?, s, ^# ]1 Q- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
- good interpersonal and people skills
+ V- t' I  g5 z% y- good organizational and coordination skills
) M! I' O3 }, @- k! Q! x3 w/ J: Z' L- ~' J- valid driver’s license
