Job Description
( y9 v- h/ e* m; p- promote the Centre’s ISP to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
- promote ISP in various media: newspaper, radio, newsletter, etc.
7 Q. S+ L6 ^( h7 d9 @$ P* X& U-  develop or update brochures, pamphlets, information packages, etc. for ISP
- provide support to ISP staff
- recruit new members to the Newcomers Club and maintain existing members
8 K) `/ S# @- A$ N1 ?- promote, organize and coordinate the Newcomers Club’s activities
- outreach in different areas of the city where new immigrants are concentrated
2 A% x  q* M! k7 _" Q- attend meetings relevant to ISP and outreach work to advocate issues and concerns of new immigrants
- adapt to a flexible working schedule to accommodate the program’s goals
- fulfill the goals and objectives of ISP as contracted by funder
- report writing, data collection, conduct evaluations, budget management, etc.
- recruit and coordinate volunteers to assist with outreach activities
- assist with front counter services as needed and assigned

9 v& `4 K! E# r; cQualifications
- degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline; relevant experience with community services/projects/immigrants will be considered
- knowledge of immigrant issues and concerns, community resources and services available
- experience in working with community groups and community liaison workers
- good computer skills using Microsoft and Chinese software
3 Z, X9 g( f) w- speak & write Chinese (fluent in Mandarin preferred)
& ^7 w2 W( V4 E- good interpersonal and people skills
- good organizational and coordination skills
% x4 I) g& [" Z- valid driver’s license

* x, f# t8 N+ i, W9 f- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
