Graphic Design Specialist

FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for the design and production of a variety of communication materials, both printed and web-based.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% B( C* c8 T. v  Q•        Create and prepare a wide range of materials for printing, presentations, public displays and events including brochures, newsletters, reports, advertisements and forms.
•        Liaise with our purchasing department and external vendors to ensure projects are completed properly and on time.
% V) D5 o' o+ [•        Create and prepare materials for posting on internal and external web sites.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
. B0 ^3 X' M# d  |; R5 t•        Post-secondary diploma in graphic design or visual communications.
3 O" D! f! G. \; t/ ~•        Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of print production and web design processes.
•        Minimum of two years of directly related experience.
•        Demonstrated proficiency using Indesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel in a PC environment. Experience in Dreamweaver, HTML, Javascript and CSS also an asset.

•        Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
