Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team! d4 R/ |7 Z0 g/ m5 [
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
! }* @% q5 n- d2 ]6 m7 N" K: sMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).: l/ f$ S; z6 t; y v

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit. Job Qualification9 L; Q" Y7 a* \( ^" e
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
$ q" e, g- d# r! S, C2 uMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s5 V; Q" P$ E# t+ ]/ k) o
School)" d/ b( X. g2 o3 \4 l/ v* ]! }7 {
Must have supervisory experience
4 n5 q. d5 V& X5 W, IMust understand the child welfare, justice and legal system/ B, j4 z' Y& g0 \' q
Must be computer literate r5 r6 e3 ~% Y3 u+ D: O; ]; t
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
1 W1 a. Q4 H! o6 G7 cMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
! `- G v, o/ k' z& G0 HMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills7 Y0 G- ~7 B9 U+ i% M6 c
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already% _. c6 U9 C+ K* L
establish team.
