Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team: n+ l% D+ l* X( R
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
2 }1 }8 _( e# ?5 z9 zMothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).( t2 }( H, c/ f
; D n: [6 {! ?& r
To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification/ d" S" a* o! g% C8 {- k3 \% s( ^
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
% ? @" D# O# c- K+ y2 k5 r. G jMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
0 X- w5 u9 z) w: S0 NSchool)
$ \, ?! ~. k2 g& p) FMust have supervisory experience2 t; D9 b+ A, o9 |
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system: F4 M, `% t6 C7 {5 D% `
Must be computer literate( n/ H0 d$ {* F3 t- a' S, e. M' D
Must present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
1 t( ]: q9 x& e8 UMust possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network# _* } m; A% ^+ @
Must possess a well developed communication and organization skills
/ l. S7 M* _' yMust possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
