lowest rate cell phone for just in case

Ever heard of Virgin mobile.
) O# d5 n9 z" R9 z- s$ T. \I personally have no big use for cell phone but a friend of mine told me I should have one on highway. Virgin cell offers 15 minutes that last three months.
* L# I% u. P! K4 ?3 U( ?: bAnybody used it or know how much is that 15 minutes?
I have a Fido on the shelf disconnected because it was hardly used.
