Different universities have different requirements, and it depends on the programs as well. For a lot of good programs, you need about 70 related volunteer hours. For example, if you want to study Social Work at Grant MacEwan, you will need 70 related volunteer hours.% T4 w" [ u4 |3 J
However, it's really good to volunteer. You can get experiece, references, respect...3 M0 l; ]4 p# j! _0 V9 o4 \' V

Yes, most of senior homes/centres have pianos! And they do need volunteers to play the music for them. I did few times even though I'm not good at it at all.
