听CBC  说他们要求涨5%，但后来同意4.5%。 他们的工作到底是多少呀？羡慕！

其实很多人从政往往不是为了薪资的。

Plus, they all have very good pension plan, health coverage and other career allowance/deduction every year. Actually, Mayor Mandel opposed to this raise, but his vote couldn't overturn the results.

我最喜欢这个市长了，加地税的时候也掉很多鳄鱼泪的，我当时也被感动的掉泪。政客的声誉比较低，都是他们自己搞的，记住只有上帝为大家（不含给教会交份子钱的）就行了
