Duties
: F7 B6 ~9 C/ s8 S8 c7 JDelivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items& _3 L9 F. }+ |, R! o" b; M
Obtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments8 _/ | W1 s. h5 `; Z! i: o
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
& Q, x8 g" g J& |8 F5 n/ UPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
5 D2 S4 x1 M1 t" NOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions6 C$ H e( i- I) O9 k
Performs related duties as required

1 n7 R2 _' i2 {8 O: A9 OValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.

Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification

Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
