  Duties
Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
" ]. m! ]5 {3 @4 ZObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
Ensures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound
# ^+ u3 w) h" O, k* k! J8 VPrioritizes workload and requests from dispatcher and team lead
# N; X* `1 K: n4 _- E) o9 aOperates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications
8 L2 H' b# D' G2 D* Z9 B3 hValid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
Current certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
Ability to operate equipment including forklift, power-jack, pallet-jack, Johnson bar
