Delivers, sorts and picks up mail, parcels, courier documents, cylinders, crates, dangerous goods, furniture, tack boards, tables and chairs, surplus equipment, and any related incoming and outgoing items
& Q/ o# W3 V0 v5 U) P7 MObtains signatures, scans traceable items into Palm Pilots upon delivery to departments
- L3 q) `2 Y5 D: T D7 hEnsures Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations are followed on TDG shipments inbound and outbound

Operates University vehicles from small vans to 3-ton trucks, including standard transmissions

Qualifications9 }3 x/ |; c8 B* G# }, F
Valid Class 5 drivers license - the successful candidate will be required to provide a Drivers' Abstract and have completed a Defensive Driving course in the previous 2 years.! e. u$ _/ O. H! L9 ~
High School diploma; previous driving experience required
( N: w; C% ^ y+ b6 PCurrent certification in Transportation of Dangerous Goods; Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) certification6 S$ w4 i1 I2 @6 d+ D3 D1 \. Z0 s) V1 q
Training related to proper handling procedures of Radioactive and Biohazard materials
