/ |3 @' r" b8 K2 fAssists with the creation and implementation of computer software as directed by the project management team (includes leading edge machine learning techniques, robot control, gaming and simulation)
3 ?5 j& ?* g8 P' \Provides techical support to end-users as directed and is responsible for ensuring end-user usability and satisfaction when required
2 D2 t% `+ S! iPerforms other general programiming tasks such as building GUI (graphical user interfaces) front ends, etc. as directed6 K G }4 i3 ]& M9 i
Performs related tasks as needed

& ~8 x$ X8 {6 e% \Diploma in Computing Science; undergraduate degree in Computing Science preferred
3 e4 N& j- E$ j# i jDemonstrated work experience with Web programming and scripting tools such as PHP and Perl, and mySQL database design and management; knowledge of MatLab, Weka and CVS repository system preferred+ P/ w4 n' d% [9 O
Solid knowledge of microcomputer operating systems (Windows XP as well as Unix/Linux); experience in other domains (Bioinformatics, electronic entertainment, ecommerce) an asset; Dynamic programming an asset) |& } ^ B4 ?! C! ?9 w
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies preferred# r" V+ z# x7 _: ?' k
Familiarity with object orientated analysis and design and project life-cycle methodologies is a benefit
4 h( C/ c& \. ORelevant programming experience using Java, C++, and other programming languages
