Responsibilities
/ _3 V; `% x) y- g5 z■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
9 S0 {$ ^/ f' S/ o' S■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
% \" r+ V# c% N, i& Y* K■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships) s2 E O% E2 e
Experience and Education:) Q$ g9 }* M+ \# z# k: l' b# x2 M0 f
■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
- _5 t$ q ?; p" m3 E5 ~4 a' J8 o■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
% u2 w( l2 }" `* D$ C■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.- C, i" ^% Z, N7 W0 h9 S3 M
■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;9 O3 F9 Z4 J5 C/ d- v+ p% F
■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;- `: y! n. O8 i0 E. Q) c
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
4 J0 c: ]) g: D" E' ?■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
