Clifton Associates Ltd. currently has a career opportunity for an intermediate/senior geotechnical engineer with 8-10 years experience in our Edmonton office.

Responsibilities
■Manage and conduct a wide variety of geotechnical projects and investigations.
■Provide geotechnical engineering expertise on projects dealing with the design of roadways, railways, bridges, retaining walls and other transportation or foundation structural projects.
■Take a lead role in business development and client relationships
Experience and Education:
9 K6 a4 s) X" ]; X( g, M0 `* R) ^■A graduate degree in Civil Engineering with a Geotechnical focus is very desirable.
7 W& _0 Z! q  E6 v! g) o. {■Competent in all facets of geotechnical engineering and materials testing.
% V) l2 U7 o+ O' C8 N% L! O: G% ~■Experience in a consulting environment would be a definite asset.
! d/ W8 s- }6 K1 t  q% I* b■Experience with technical report writing, presentations, and meetings;
, o3 g" g" t! M4 s4 O■Ability to supervise the construction of earthwork projects;
■Ability to undertake unsupervised geotechnical work with support from senior engineers in other offices.
■Project management experience required as well as business development and marketing experience, including proposal writing.
! R+ {& W8 E4 N2 w8 h  T9 h/ [■Must be eligible for registration with APEGGA.
