 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.0 E& G# L) A* Z4 @8 E( l
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
% u9 Y( e. z5 `9 e; z Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.2 o, W' z, P' G- f/ T5 Z) H
 Completing required paperwork.
% x6 i, A: \- y s& H* ] Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.9 N. l; q" s' D& L& y( t* L" t+ o
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.3 C. |4 s" x' w U1 Z8 a) x9 [
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
% `4 i' Q- E1 \! r m Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.1 P z. L0 y! H
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
N6 ^( F' P2 u8 w2 U Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

7 F2 s* T0 C$ J* Q Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.) D" Q1 x; O9 c. d0 u0 ?+ J# @1 K
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
0 S+ }. |. a# [ u+ d Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
: v1 p/ H* @; e/ z Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.9 t$ @7 T. g& r: w% D% J- W
 Knowledge of community resources.
0 `* O! q- T8 C5 @9 f Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance., U' _2 Y3 B5 a5 N. d
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
