& i5 f1 j3 `: [0 f% s: s Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
) h8 A) W; ]+ A  [ Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
$ l8 x% J, U& d% m8 @0 I Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
1 M. N5 E3 B" M: S% Q6 a$ S! B$ y$ @ Completing required paperwork.
/ f3 o( p* k" A5 B- t Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
, j: w6 f0 |& d: Q  s# l Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
! |8 z( C! S% j4 H6 f, c) q1 K Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
$ b. a# m) ^$ i; l' F7 g8 m Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

. D0 R5 O# s9 x% q Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
% E3 ~6 U. p# r4 @+ U Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
8 V( y1 k$ U. O" m$ Z. b Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
. m7 h9 s7 }* v3 C  S& q6 GThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
