8 O0 a6 i; m7 l% O( b  R( v1 I6 F+ L Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
5 T4 D/ L7 o  ~& o1 K! P  d6 }$ w7 s Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
+ s  X3 Q. g6 h$ m9 s3 g# @ Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
2 ]- `) I! g$ m: w+ V  } Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
( R  N" _$ _* I Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
/ z0 m$ P( o% \, q Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

5 O. x4 @2 d$ h% | Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
  ^7 ^) \: i- Z# R- f Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
) y- I) ]5 K0 ~9 @This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
