 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth./ s4 [' |8 m6 S7 Q
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.- n; j8 {( r+ m" n
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.+ _+ G* X9 e5 B! V1 U6 B
 Completing required paperwork.
3 U$ A0 w4 i* l; t4 j/ E; Y; l# ~ Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
: r8 m7 G+ a$ B9 j* k Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.* x( \+ O, ^ [) R
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. % {- g, `% @6 U7 B( O
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.# O0 E' @. C1 }; `0 v# ]; J
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
* ^. R7 P2 q/ b3 _ Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.

6 {' Y3 s |, `; h! C Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.& e7 N" e g0 p5 w# H. Z' e" M Q
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
% w8 Z) T2 u) i" M Knowledge of community resources.+ w) ^, [3 X; a) y- L
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance./ r# K6 j6 H. v0 m; @
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. ' d2 m+ G. E' X: l2 ~

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006. * @' J6 v5 I- x' K) Z. J
There is a 3-month probationary period.
