% o+ ^* q6 J; i. p% B# M Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
5 Z' s$ r4 x2 r1 U7 v0 | Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
* j6 h$ @; S, W: a8 }0 \- m( E Completing required paperwork.
# ]/ ?9 F+ W, G1 x Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
+ Z8 o# G8 E  D0 x) p# C7 h" m Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
5 ?( C* {# f! e: o, z% m2 L+ M Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:

8 d- N2 s5 e$ b- }! P% z3 C, O Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
3 U( d$ A. t- F4 l* v" M Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
+ d8 ?$ [3 r; K0 n+ } Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

Position:
This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
; \! \* p7 |$ t9 ^1 @2 c8 ?There is a 3-month probationary period.
