# R6 I8 S. N) a. ~5 A3 S0 `
6 K4 z* S9 i7 w0 x3 b Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
$ K& R& t/ Y0 ? Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
# }! q1 V5 E/ k, Q2 Z4 n Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
8 Q1 B& [4 X( f* v# \4 P8 W* x0 B Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
9 m! O: ^. V$ ~* w Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

Qualifications:
1 a' W) j- C) E/ }; w( {  R
9 ]0 o  J) V6 \ Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
- T4 |- k$ z; x# [: H) F* \! F) ~! W Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
# ?6 J! e' d' a0 k6 n+ M* ~ Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
4 y! b6 {, L6 l/ J' G: ~ Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
3 |" |+ @$ C, ^* w3 w$ W/ x Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
" i: Q2 B  ^+ z. t+ M2 q Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

: J1 k9 \4 y3 H; VPosition:
& d2 B# N& e' V3 v: fThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
