 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
 Completing required paperwork.
 Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
$ u, d  b% b0 f Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
, y; N, z8 Q; J: C8 a: b Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
1 `' o" s! H7 \5 H* c Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
. [* S- D$ x6 l8 [' k Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

, P- R$ \# p$ ZQualifications:

 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
; p& q4 G  s9 L2 X6 _- M) R. i Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
 Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
% k7 s/ z% N3 a5 e5 O Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

6 J/ A& Z2 t- b: F* e0 _This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; evening and weekend shifts; at an hourly rate of $12.50; starting February 8 2006.
There is a 3-month probationary period.
