/ t$ g+ o% l, k: l; \* j8 n Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
! ^" P6 d3 J. c+ d1 `1 Q& j Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
7 E! M! a' L" o' m' A- Y Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

& B3 \$ O6 T0 O, A6 n$ ^5 m Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.

 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information. * R; n% V3 q1 f- }$ w, l# T
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.

 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.! W: a: R! F4 R
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

 Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills./ o. m& I2 `, m! a9 }/ R5 `2 }
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
0 d M m# s8 R8 A+ l Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
5 ]; A l3 ^, [2 s! N: r Knowledge of community resources.
# c6 y% J, }4 m; Y. A( n' S& f Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
+ B& H3 n" G5 ~4 } Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training. 4 k4 c& ]) t! p% q0 N. B

1 p* R( S/ K0 dThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
