4 Q* V5 [; p/ {8 `0 q0 T! x  P9 O Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
$ M5 O; Q$ `+ z. ?' U+ C Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.
8 l# K$ [& ?5 |5 \" O7 I Completing required paperwork.
9 Y+ L4 f/ G4 z' @4 J Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
 Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
- O. s, P1 M- ~0 a$ m3 X+ i Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.

8 h2 b$ V$ o$ s7 ?' g3 V+ E+ ]  d  G
 Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
( A1 L% I' i( {8 @ Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.
 Knowledge of community resources.
) T: ]# E: n+ H- [% m: x7 i Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
 Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

This is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
