The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

8 v9 _: E; Q4 `) P0 }• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required7 H" W4 m- s, t2 [3 |
• Answer multi line telephone system, I2 {+ G& ^: z( W
& m" Q, i" R4 }
Administration:
& J1 p) N* D) V. z f' {' Y5 C• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
, n1 b$ g3 Y& D, k9 j# M. d• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
4 h: T r( S; n• Input and manage high volume of data
( F* Z3 {3 f# B+ u1 K' C7 j& d! G• Update and maintain databases; y H+ L V2 S* ?
• Generate monthly reports and statistics" H8 K. b4 [9 i( I
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation# u* E1 a* D+ `& Y8 |9 j8 g
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
$ n8 F# A/ U' }9 f• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
7 i0 ^- K4 S/ @* c• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors- l j! n8 r' `/ S( C. W# Q a
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
: Y! A! M: f- s8 ]$ L• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
2 m: K% {7 M \" a% z c& a• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
4 G( K+ i5 o1 G/ u% {" Z• Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ z( p( j7 F! s: ]9 g0 v
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work

• Strong customer service skills2 a5 z0 X5 A$ a4 O1 Q: z

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset; |4 o# {2 P9 G7 \8 n4 \
