The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. , T" }& \( s9 y2 r( N4 h" u
2 N$ M) _- r2 TThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

% l& W1 [. X4 N• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required3 Y! e0 `2 s" d" K4 d2 b1 A8 N6 I
• Answer multi line telephone system, @" y4 ]* t2 A) {' q2 D

Administration:
5 [4 e4 s- m7 `# ^# U• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
+ a6 ]" q9 Z0 n% m, y3 B/ r• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
+ `# I) N2 F3 X8 X. v: h) e# }, }• Input and manage high volume of data& q4 a' Y1 t4 Q
• Update and maintain databases
3 `! D N4 j! q! | S/ s W* j" s• Generate monthly reports and statistics* q' y+ U0 ~3 b% e: H/ D C
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
* f3 c' G) Y$ \" u• Process payments and complete weekly deposits+ i+ E9 k% i8 L
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms P. r/ A2 z# t. E
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors6 I% F" \1 }! l& h2 H% ^7 C
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
" A( Y' ]) H: K% I! C# a& S• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:
) w: d+ N/ A. N: E+ Y; Z
' b$ l$ j, a- T; l( N4 y8 ^• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure1 G% M$ `% S0 p, S' V0 g( s) l
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS , E( }3 x9 a t( e" b5 ?! ~
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills& B+ t7 }/ g; b4 ~" x- v9 G
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work9 j3 B3 z6 A" m7 y# a2 `
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
