The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. D6 N2 n# L( l: F; u% s& c3 ]

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required7 a5 ], K5 [3 [
• Answer multi line telephone system

Administration:
( d1 Q5 N0 V, a- a4 A" J• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads
( C! H+ t( Y8 ]# y! H% _• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
" H2 I- `8 v! R4 M Z& n• Input and manage high volume of data, T7 \( l7 \( N. q6 c
• Update and maintain databases2 I# G7 y7 {" y+ }4 m
• Generate monthly reports and statistics1 G; |/ F' z& I) w$ A2 T m9 Q P7 Y
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation" T4 y, o9 c2 m. y' _( m
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
" C9 H, v; p/ Q. f& q/ t" ? b3 x• Write and revise business correspondence and forms5 w0 K# V2 V; y# [$ |$ c, K" J5 Z
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors% `8 V& U/ f" F* M$ }- Z" w4 w
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
% n2 a$ E( k1 T4 Q B• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

9 Q2 V0 U5 ^6 d9 S7 {. c: I$ \, P- \% a3 B9 o/ \& R
• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
g; n9 a; |2 V/ m• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ! I5 I. T5 b3 {7 R. o2 V* e& y& l
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7 ^* p4 d, u2 d. a/ B- D& ]• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
+ Q* e, n+ Z7 [, e• Able to interact positively with a diverse population3 _% T( r9 L, p! [5 H
• Strong customer service skills* y: E5 r% J+ u' e; r# W* _
• Strong organizational skills and abilities
