The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.: u8 n* k5 n- y4 U- _7 w0 R' ]; S

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required+ D3 O8 W8 o; ]) o1 a8 Y2 V
• Answer multi line telephone system

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads3 h( j' ]- g ]) B1 @' ^0 P# q. y
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
+ X+ \2 U& I$ E' T. Y• Input and manage high volume of data- N& d! W. U, Q3 |3 q, N
• Update and maintain databases; h5 _+ a- d* U2 B
• Generate monthly reports and statistics! @) P2 G; h/ L5 j# c, m
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation
T1 ?, j% e* D7 _& n• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
' P2 [0 y+ K! Z' P) T• Write and revise business correspondence and forms- {# ~6 X* I) j, K& C
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors
* S7 u# b( y4 \+ ?$ u; F• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre
5 K7 F: z! J! l( v% x• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:! t# m4 D" S7 K) T: H
9 P3 M+ R' ~, [- U [; r! h• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure+ C9 G3 _* e# s" X/ M& f& k
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
8 w5 b2 H$ k7 K" w5 l2 ~• Excellent verbal and written communication skills c/ S& k( M' X+ \8 U0 w
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work2 G4 V6 s, C. @* w; K8 ?
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Strong organizational skills and abilities" _) ?9 Q4 `, R4 I
