Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
8 f+ P; |9 S# r' e/ \# }Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
" j' G, {9 \$ d/ Z) t$ O3 MMake sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients  

& [0 y6 K% \3 X+ D( jQualifications
5 e# x3 D* Y, H7 J; q) P- v! _
( D. e- g2 m- e0 Q8 W% t$ PGraduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
0 |( O$ o+ v9 \Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
0 g: R6 m' ~" z) r6 qUnderstanding of the Bill of Material generation process
Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
; m. o  O) }8 l1 mCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
