Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

3 E, w; {& L! d- [Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
0 t5 n7 }) ]" D+ m' uReview, develop and improve processes and procedures
. D' ~& `: M$ k! Y9 P# t+ dResearch and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

7 Z+ Q$ Q0 I7 G+ U' H! uQualifications

Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings
Minimum 2 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset

1 @! f3 [1 p  T1 p* DUnderstanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
2 Y: [7 z$ f1 m, MCompetence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
