• Process research equipment design;/ [9 b% z9 N: ~( y$ |; E
• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;/ p1 A2 J, k/ ~3 j' `4 B
• Equipment fabrication guidance;% _+ N! X! I4 e+ @5 D
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

Qualifications:
+ Y) i$ R9 u1 Z0 F• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months. % H( _5 N( E% _ \: O
• Equipment design experience is required;9 V7 ]2 y- @) z/ C
• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
9 E5 g& O. q6 t. N0 _6 G$ v• Familiar with CAD software;6 t; i6 x0 P- M: _5 K: t
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;

Compensation:3 Z2 r- \8 j1 I, e# P
Successful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. 9 U+ L" X! B% T1 r9 n
