- R' D" {" R$ I5 H' ]
 Facilitate delivery of safe and supportive drop-in programming, while supervising youth.
 Coordinate food and recreational programs on and off-site.
 Provide positive role-modeling and maintaining a healthy atmosphere for the youth.

$ V# {4 b- F; `; @: ~" W Attending scheduled staff meetings and workshops.
6 D! f; L( x6 v2 P Following and implementing all program policies and procedures.
 Maintaining confidentiality of client and program personnel information.
 Representing the Teen Centre in a professional manner.
 Maintaining professional boundaries between clients and staff.
 Provide additional support to the program as needed under the direction of the Program Manager.
 Reporting to the Program Manager on a Regular basis.


Qualifications:

+ U) j" h" v! o5 A6 C( w7 S, L Some post-secondary education needed OR a minimum 6 months related experience.
. P( t# R, e6 h3 G Strong interpersonal, communications, teamwork, leadership and organizational skills.
 Non-judgemental and empathetic attitude towards high-risk youth.
 Broad knowledge base on issues affecting high risk youth: latch key, addictions, abuse, Aboriginal and other cultures, poverty, sexuality, etc.

9 b& p+ V+ v+ F/ R& ?! { Criminal Record Clearance and Child Welfare Information System Clearance.
+ u* H: @2 t6 g& } Standard First Aid and Suicide Intervention Training.

% E# {4 u0 @- r( n8 m3 [  l0 aThis is a part-time position; 15hrs/week; with a combination of afternoons and one weekend shift per month; at an hourly rate of $12.50;
starting January 2006. There is a 3-month probationary period.
