Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The

1 a" v0 @6 U' x6 N6 S$ ~, e* ^3 i2 e$ V+ mment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
5 w/ P0 h! o% L6 GŸ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
) s7 g7 c8 d; q' {& Bthe organization;
8 {. N0 ]+ b5 Z. R% O% k2 R- OŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
  }$ B7 ?$ j0 L8 w" F" `/ |/ tŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
6 J# H& A; B7 K, B' b) Fsupport;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
. B! V9 g/ E, U, hŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
6 J; d. ]+ m5 g( }% g5 i# hŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
# O9 V1 _  m1 o( `* L6 B+ X$ nŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
  J1 `: j8 |/ v( e% c5 w! F  ^verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
% U. f: Y& M; ~$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
( t: H) t+ ^4 t* z# kdriver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
