Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
/ r" v; S* d2 `" S2 L+ I. ]ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
. [2 C- W* ?' t7 JThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
& M* F$ o. K/ @) ?1 KŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
& a- Z$ q0 [& T: Y/ H6 j: bŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
  G- V# O/ T% Y' s* v5 B6 limplementing staff wellness programs;
- A  G, ]6 J- c& q3 @3 i# F6 HŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
4 D) b9 c9 r9 Z$ SŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
( J0 d2 d2 y! k' O! _Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
6 Y  A& F  D8 ^: }1 A- i6 Y+ VŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
5 i+ C2 n6 \# F3 A, UŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
, i) V2 a' D! x5 c2 }, ~Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
! T6 V6 `" l) W) |, K8 Vverbal and written.
6 C+ i2 M% P+ N" e% OLac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
9 {3 X  d9 d8 @$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
