Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
' [5 J4 j; x% ?; Z. XManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
1 F% V8 q, F3 f  qment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
1 ]6 H1 P* G1 o- p$ a, mThe duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
+ \  V8 p& i* Y0 \Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
! ]& x5 O$ R/ M4 O9 O$ Bthe organization;
# V/ ^2 I  I% f1 k8 u  XŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
- Z( o7 L- G1 E+ q' c' S& c9 k" bŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
1 c  _1 k2 A; g9 k- v2 a# h9 tŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
& ^0 a# K  P* Y+ e4 B4 T2 E# vŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
& P( T4 q' V- |% L# n+ [) h% Z9 D- LQualifications:
. ^0 Z$ G5 |& b( A* n' ^/ t7 p/ KŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
& d/ W3 R' c' Z6 q7 hverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
