This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
5 N& r/ B$ Z- B! X) P2 c& ICreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
: h" a* C( |+ f/ C  {5 EAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment

/ U' b5 g1 v; c) @) G2 zB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
Several years related experience in a similar environment
( Z! K4 v* E8 v' m# DKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
* K4 f% U# ]( D( }5 iExcellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
8 Z& U) D9 q4 k8 x0 D2 uOutstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
