Duties
5 ^" ]2 u0 a, @4 S$ y+ U. ]+ YSupports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors5 S4 H1 M( s0 r' v' d
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
$ v+ ]% T- ?1 Y U. mCreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
& H. r) V4 r7 y9 |! W* G- c9 G: XAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment E6 F& M9 t4 k$ \
Qualifications
2 F2 s; i+ s! ~" s9 A3 ^3 B8 {B.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered, b' B& @: x( _, C% U8 X/ Q
Several years related experience in a similar environment6 r0 h' d M# @7 I) G
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i. n0 \+ @5 L& }/ B- \
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset! [+ \: [! q' u) v/ Z1 T+ j0 [
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail; a3 V s; a& j( R" @; Q, f
