Our Instructor/Facilitators provide meaningful learning experiences to our customers. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
) G2 j: C1 t. QPost-Secondary education in Career Development, Human Resources, Social Sciences or related fields.
2 F4 ~* X+ h$ r( w; F2 O) ~5 DAdult education background
' w4 l: q) y; u% ~Experience in providing a variety of workshops in the areas of personal and professional development
1 U* H/ L7 j) E# C. x1 r1 d& I# OAbility to deliver workshops for persons requiring specialized services
Experience in facilitating group interaction and providing coaching with a client-centered focus
) T: m4 r3 b& EExtensive knowledge of the Edmonton and area labour market and the business and education communities
Computer proficiency
2 O. ^3 ~* b. I/ j. EStrong writing, editing and proofreading skills
8 Q3 J( _3 q) b9 [) ~- TUnderstanding of the role of facilitator, the stages of group development, group roles and group leadership theories
/ o( k# w; Q; r6 v: j9 R* J" nDemonstrate techniques used in structuring group activities
Display positive self-concept
