Our Employment/Career Counselors provide professional support and assistance to our customers as they work towards meeting their employment needs. Qualifications that we typically look for in our team members include:
Post-Secondary education in career development, human resources or related fields
Understanding of, and demonstrated application of, the employment/Career counselling/coaching role
3 f: |& l6 X/ I) ^+ ~! }Experience working with clients experiencing difficulty securing employment and a commitment to motivate and encourage such participants
+ B' Q6 j$ u# [$ x( }Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience in providing information in a group session and/or individually for one to one appointments
Current knowledge of greater Edmonton labour market
