She works through the collection, holding up a brightly patterned Christian Louboutin or shoe every so often for a second opinion from her father.
# n+ o% T# Y+ ]# q% Y, S! _! T6 @ "Do you like that?" she asks as she holds up the hottest shape in louboutin this season, the bowling shoe in purple and violet sunray stripes. It gets the nod.
( K& `% \. A3 |: B* V" G) S She holds up a designer credit-card holder for inspection. "I think that's so cute," she says.

Although many may envy her job travelling to the world's fashion capitals to buy the most cutting-edge collec-tions, she is quick to explain that this is no shopping expedition.' w- X; x- { D$ z4 H
"This isn't shopping, it's business," she says. "They're make-and-break decisions."
