1. Availability of the reservation service: The Parks Canada Campground Reservation Service

( j$ y l J0 C' r+ t. h5 o! I 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local park time or online 24-hours a day at www.pccamping.ca.$ n0 q$ x" e5 H5 p6 D3 u% U
You can make a camping reservation from the system launch dates up until 12:00 midnight
" m$ ^$ K' p, ^$ I on the night prior to your arrival. Same day reservations are not accepted.
# n' d# U+ b6 q9 ~/ N/ v2 g2. Times: All times quoted in these Terms of Use are the local time at the park where your1 j' r% b+ Z; w4 \: h* K
reservation is made (e.g. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local park6 {) ]0 f& ]7 ?
time – for a reservation made in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve in British Columbia,

Park in New Brunswick, this is 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Atlantic Time).

7 O. ?/ I* L- V8 M- Z, X3. Fees are payable when the reservation is made: Both reservation fees and camping fees are/ h2 `. ^, r- k5 v; p7 ~' e
due when you make your reservation.
( u$ w7 T8 E0 s* l- Q* O4. Daily entry fees: The fees paid when you make your reservation do not include your
/ n3 z% B# e$ ~2 W- y national park daily entry fees. You will be required to pay these daily entry fees upon1 @- p/ x' s6 r; q9 t
arrival at the park.
2 c5 F8 B" j' }& r5. Reservation fees: The reservation fee is non-refundable and covers the operating cost of) O; n* F, v, v
the Parks Canada Reservation Service. This fee is charged per stay. A stay is defined as" [5 v* L, j9 e. R; r6 K$ Y
a series of consecutive nights (not exceeding the maximum length of stay) in the same
( z5 y& D% B# A/ ~1 e campground. The fee to make a reservation is $10.80.* M' ~: Z# J6 i
6. Camping fees: Camping fees are the fees paid for use of the campsite. They are charged on: a0 @* L) e: Q F! t- z, c
a per night basis and the price is dependent on: the park; the campground; the type of
3 H+ B# U4 R7 P' P; o campsite; and the service type.
; C9 C" D9 K) C% l) }' Q7. Changes and cancellations: Fees are also charged if you change or cancel a previously
/ B0 W, m: C7 @6 Y6 z4 e1 ~/ L confirmed reservation. The fee for each change or cancellation is $8.80 and is non-refundable.$ `1 v8 k D9 h" V j% N
These fees, along with any additional costs for camping, are due when you make the8 h. c( a5 l. J4 y2 z8 u
change or cancellation.

9. Certified cheques and international money orders: Certified cheques and international
' q" p7 Q+ s& k money orders are only accepted over the telephone; reservations using these forms of, T" k( k" Z2 y" u
payment cannot be made on-line. When this method of payment is used, campsite reservations
+ r7 S( P7 j' B& e2 {6 x5 g will not be confirmed until the payment is received and processed. 6 L- B- _. J' }6 l
All reservations using certified cheques or international money orders must be made at. R. J: y5 l# L+ S/ v
least 35 days prior to your date of arrival at the campground. Payment must be received* t, H/ j N3 H1 i7 z
for processing no later than 21 days from the date that the reservation was made." ^4 s3 I: r! e9 c5 B

It is important that you take note of this confirmation number and bring it with you to
; t7 B6 q$ }$ t+ J! i: @* ~ the campground. It is must be given to Parks Canada staff so that they can register you) ]6 u; H% g ~- a9 B& T6 P7 b
into the campground.

9 S+ @, e. w2 I8 {* { For reservations made by telephone, you have the option of providing an email address* v& @1 e0 n* P$ ~
to receive an electronic confirmation, and/or you may want to write down the confirmation
& p) b' f6 N9 `. b7 I! M number when you receive it verbally from the Customer Service Associate.

For reservations made on-line, you should enter your email address to receive an

Remember that if you pay for your reservation by certified cheque or international

11. Changes before check-in: You can change your reservation until 2:00 p.m. (local park time)) W S$ r0 H: E! @
on your scheduled day of arrival. Changes may include changes in date, campground (within

or by telephone. You will be charged a fee of $8.80 to make a change.& V( W1 e+ \: M/ a
12. Cancellations before check-in: Cancellations can be done online or by telephone. You
# N, L. E& _$ T+ }* n( S# I will be charged a fee of $8.80 to cancel. A reservation can be cancelled before you
. }7 f6 }$ Y2 ]/ P9 Y check-in to the campground, subject to the following:
8 e j) L! f# t( i% f - If you cancel your reservation prior to 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival,* Z) B2 k* {# d! H3 E7 U5 ^8 K( G
you will get a full refund for all of the camping fees you paid when you made your
/ V% ]% d0 M9 f( H2 [ reservation. The original $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition,
4 R5 f& m+ U% r" @ you will be charged a cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.1 ?! R& E9 @) H' }1 |
- Cancellations made after 2:00 p.m. on your scheduled day of arrival and before
% ^, Q, g# x o! d/ [ 11:00 a.m. on the following day will result in you losing the fees paid for one night
2 j1 E% a: Z$ W of camping. You will be refunded the fees paid for the rest of your stay. The original
1 C' y! u" J- w2 w/ y4 n/ r $10.80 reservation fee is non-refundable and, in addition, you will be charged a
7 w8 F& L+ h& N cancellation fee of $8.80 for this transaction.5 T4 _4 Y& ?/ t+ C" r8 m

your campsite once you are registered. It is important to note that changes cannot be- g' v- A8 \2 j' Q! I
guaranteed and can only be accommodated if a suitable campsite is available. If a change, {7 K$ o0 ]- N/ M
is requested, there may be a difference in the new camping fee charged based on the0 s! y5 c, r' d/ ^# e
services provided at the new campsite. The camping fee will be adjusted but the $8.80
( H; [" R6 W; r! N5 C change fee will not apply. Availability may be limited. m7 l$ b' g) N; m! |. p
14. Shortening your stay: We recognize that plans change. There is no penalty for leaving4 ]) N3 ^4 R2 f8 \6 i/ d; k
earlier than your original day of departure, provided that you notify the campground
1 r, c, k# T. r- D& q `8 J4 _3 Q prior to the check-out time on the day you want to leave. The $8.80 cancellation fee
/ u, b( P8 g3 a9 m' j% p' U will not apply and the unused portion of your camping fees will be reimbursed. Please
7 c8 n4 K; E) [! T2 A notify park staff at your earliest possible convenience if you plan on leaving early.

15. Late Arrivals – Notification on the day of arrival until 11:00 a.m. the day after the/ m7 M$ Y. z/ u/ z6 W- P
expected day of arrival: If you are not going to be able to arrive at the campground
+ z1 W1 c9 y* B on the day of arrival, but you still wish to retain your reservation, you must contact, f8 d! \0 P; x8 j; N
the park office. If you do not know the telephone number for the park,2 f$ q# A& t3 W) C0 Q" L
call 1-877-RESERVE (1-877-737-3783).* T$ e+ o: e, I0 Z' A; t+ W
16. Late Arrivals – Notification after 11:00 a.m. the day after the expected day of arrival:" W: w+ ^/ i/ G+ ]3 v4 @
If you are not able to make it to the campground before 11:00 a.m. the day after your
' Z- g& h) M! q* c! B expected day of arrival, and you have not notified us, the fees paid for your first two6 l9 R: y! k6 _$ f! s, N- i
nights of camping will not be refunded. You will also be considered a "No-show" (see" T. m# F6 E7 |, S; ]% R; {
policy #17) and your reservation will be cancelled. Please let us know about any late: l! D! C8 C' v- c

) b4 Z w6 P$ W6 F+ J17. No-shows: If you do not arrive at the campground by 11:00 a.m. on the day after your ) j5 m; W7 H& l9 J3 J8 P
scheduled day of arrival, and if you have not contacted the park to inform them of
' p) P! ~) R. r+ K) V' m your late arrival, you will be deemed a "No-show."0 ]7 u) N' d, z/ ~2 ]; O, y

When you are deemed a "No-show," your reservation will be cancelled and your campsite
! g* q) j* w; V' e$ ?1 b0 z will be made available to other campers.; a: l7 J+ u) K3 U3 W, `, N
) n! |1 f& R( }" ` If you are deemed a "No-show," you can claim your refund of the total camping fees
& m! K0 G) \; M4 N* n- y% }" n paid, minus a penalty of two-nights of camping and the original, non-refundable,6 N7 r. ^8 `& \ q. C0 N
reservation fee of $10.80. This is provided that you contact the park within 30 days

18. Closures: If Parks Canada must close a campsite or a campground for operational reasons,
