一直想买个电脑, 网上看到这一款, 牌子是MDG:

it seems to be good. but you should make sure if the quality of the LCD is good. prices vary between good one and cheap one.

hard drive , memory seems to be fairly good.

you can make your decision without regarding all those free stuff first.
all the stuff like mp3 player(i assume it is 128M), Lexmark printer, and 3mon free internet , you can just ignore first.

there is MDG local store in edmonton, you can go and check with them, and see how is the quality. MDG is a canadian Brand PC resembling company.

you may compare this machine with the similar ones in Dell.com to see if it is a really good deal.

总体配置不错。
不足：LCD显示器可能很一般，LEXMARK的墨盒相比最贵。
注意：
1.要求包含鼠标、键盘、音箱、主机的电源线。
2.网卡，moden要求齐全

内存即使是upgrade to 512M,但由于是集成显示卡，还是会影响速度。

look at Intel 820/830 and check the price difference. Very likely this pc uses a old motherboard model and will not support dual core processor.

check HD, see if it is 5400RPM or 7200RPM.

and check if this motherboard has an additional AGP/PCIe slot for video card upgrade. Most integrated video card does not have a video out so you can not play RM/DIVX movies on your regular TV. HDTV is a different story.

Look at the 17" LCD and see if it has DVI input.

建议买笔记本，这个价格已经可以买了。futureshop，bestbuy网站看看，我建议台式机器不要买超过$500（除非你是超级电脑游戏迷那样的话可以加大内存）。今天看到了$749笔记本（赛扬360芯片）不错，在futureshop有卖。（其实就算台式机配置稍高，但是当你要淘汰笔记本的时候，同时期买的台式机器也要淘汰了）。

配置不太妥当，80吉硬盘配512兆的内存和3吉的处理器是匹配的。
160G硬盘要求得更高一些，否则小马拉大车运行速度并不快。

电脑的售后好、整体流畅好用就行，不必追求高配置。不作图形处理或玩大游戏，赛扬处理器就够了。
多的钱买软件，这里软件好贵啊。

分开看配件的价格，的确相当划算。但是一般家用根本用不着高配置电脑。电脑这东西够用就好，有这800块钱不如买个入门级的笔记本电脑。或者用400块买个入门级的台式机。

严重同意，反正当赛扬笔记本淘汰的时候，自以为配置极高的台式电脑也该淘汰了。

毕竟，整天疯狂3D游戏的超级游戏迷是少数。

现在自己配制的机器绝对不便宜（打折的台式机往往更便宜），所以我不建议自己配机器了。

Cheap labtop cuts too many corners. Display is not as bright as desktop model, hard drive is so slow that even Windows Start Menu lags. There is simply no comparison on speed and responsiveness.

Do not confuse raw processor speed with computer performance. Other factors (FSB speed, memory size, disk {speed, interface, cache size})
have a much larger effect on everyday use than most folks realize, and are typically much lower in a laptop than in a desktop.

楼上的大侠们, 各位站的角度不同, 观点不一, 但你们说的都有道理哈!! 在此谢谢各位. 争执就没必要了. 偶本人倾向买台机, 因键盘可以分开清理,坏了顶多重新买个键盘, 现在的笔记本有个别键已经衰旧不堪了, 无法更换.
