JOB DESCRIPTION:
SALES CLERKS
Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
/ I$ n  K6 y4 v' W* [" ?that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
customers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.
/ C9 ?1 r! f% `5 xDuties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
& o) N- J: W! G• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
8 M1 e) S" V+ T" {/ Lstock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
- M/ k" ?6 t# t( rlooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
) O# z, _7 g3 q! ~/ P/ ~* j8 v• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
, R; Q' E' z/ s" k3 F• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
  f1 z  Q$ v6 |7 Q, P2 T  X2 B• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
, q2 ^* J. A2 `! k6 E& K  G0 K• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
0 |; ~' i. F. n0 t• Protect company assets at all times
• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager

; `) l2 B( P+ Q, U/ Q8 K- M• High School graduate
& _8 v' U, ?0 \# b/ x& i• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
( f3 ~9 X2 z3 [* k+ R1 b8 P& f• Good problem solving skills
" ]; @/ R) j7 V• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies
Working Conditions
• Fast paced environment
• Demanding workload

. N* r- |; E- o6 U• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
& j4 M+ d) a/ f) w% O• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
