Job Purpose
Every full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
$ I% h+ J) d$ Y: Y& Icustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
the Store Manager.

. L: m5 |4 T0 T/ s: kCustomer Service
• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
: ?, r- _. k) V• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
8 Z. @* u  G9 D/ M# C/ ulooks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
* l- L7 H& F7 Z• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
7 s5 Y' D5 R4 X+ F! U% \; u, ]4 a; L• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
9 I3 @, [; K5 J8 G3 l• Protect company assets at all times
! i2 p9 U$ B: v8 O• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
changes in strategies

Physical Requirements
8 R- \. X8 t" Y! z: e• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings

8 `( F! e" ~& b* h& s4 [• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
