Department Information  
Gas Development is comprised of natural gas business development, Enbridge investments in existing gas infrastructure and investments in long-term gas development initiatives.  The Group currently manages investments totaling $1 billion, with earnings of approximately $100 million.   This new Senior Business Advisor position will report directly to the Director Finance & Control, Gas Development.  The position will work closely with Business Development Management to ensure financial planning models for existing businesses reflect the most current commercial & economic outlooks.  This position will also develop initial financial models, and analyze risks and opportunities, related to potential new businesses identified by Gas Development.

, N# t" {7 Y2 a- _ Maintain and analyze financial models of existing Gas Development investments to ensure financial performance meets corporate expectations; where appropriate, identify opportunities to optimize commercial values;

Work closely with Gas Development Management to ensure financial models reflect current commercial contracts and economic / financial outlooks;

6 k0 w7 W  f/ m0 e0 U% YOngoing risk assessment and determine impacts for financial planning;

Liaise with senior financial representatives from partners/JVs to ensure an understanding of key financial/commercial issues and the impact to financial results and forecasts;

6 t; B& E$ S2 `1 \3 U6 zWorking closely with Gas Development Management, will develop initial financial models and evaluations of natural gas infrastructure opportunities valued in the range of $100 million to $1 billion+;

- o3 G+ ]+ O( c: x! H$ S- IWork closely with Senior Advisors/Managers of Corporate Development & Investment Review to ensure consistency of financial evaluation techniques for new opportunities and ensure clear and timely communication of project risks and opportunities;
Manage the input of various Corporate Departments in assessing new and existing capital investments;

Provide financial support for investment proposals to Senior Gas Division & Enbridge Management;

G7 ^6 O# ?0 d  k' T) z  KSpecific responsibilities include: preparation and review of financial models; managing the financial assessment of commercial structures and operating environments, provide advice on key financial assumptions; and assess opportunities & risks of current / proposed investments; determination of asset values/bid prices; use of appropriate valuation methodologies; and due diligence reviews.

Assist Director in developing and analyzing financial results and forecasts (annual budgets, forecasts, and long range plan).

Business/Finance Degree coupled with an MBA, CFA or accounting designation.

- N# z0 \- X% v8 ?2 M( T10-15 years financial experience at progressively senior analyst/advisor levels within the energy industry;

' K/ v- K& M2 c' b2 r% M$ P+ yGas industry experience preferred;

, m. f# m. }+ A2 P# Z1 Q& rExtensive experience in financial analysis, accounting, financial planning or strategic planning;

" x  n' }( q# z! pExperience in business evaluations and due diligence with respect to large scale energy projects;
