2 Q& [; b$ R4 k3 l$ [! sReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

  I. e3 R2 R! K5 u$ xKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
' A% ^# Q. w/ y$ ?- B        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
; z7 E& V" }8 M. L# l: l6 n! d4 u        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
; Q' I9 L" E% q# N5 h        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients
+ E8 I4 r  N4 q! J' H
QUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
. ^5 x0 u  j0 x' O$ J5 h; u•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
" ^: ~5 P3 x2 c" y8 H) L( c8 c$ S•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
; m) n3 H: k5 L7 J5 g2 X! R) [•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
