Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
  B1 Q! k# T. M' l: G# c$ \        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
. q2 g# R1 Y+ g. W& _        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

; J( ~' X0 t; D7 q8 l3 V, S/ o7 [QUALIFICATIONS:
/ J+ N0 N7 @/ A9 c. {' \•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
1 A/ ]9 m, K2 L1 c) a•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
# g7 M4 S; Y9 _# r7 Y•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
5 ^+ M& h, F4 N2 N3 P+ g•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
& X+ Q* ]6 t) L! G# }•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
