Primary Focus
/ ]5 q) u5 V+ b& o% s2 U Responsible to manage electrical critical drawings ensuring compliance with Enbridge Drawing Standards. 0 Z3 X8 `: Q: q: O
! Q* u: d7 d5 p% ]Responsible to provide electrical design expertise to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsible to lead a team of technologists and CADD operators to produce new or modify existing electrical drawings in support of engineering and operations projects. , v& j k4 C2 e# N6 A% e9 v1 p

Achieved through the review, update and development of electrical critical drawings (main power distribution switching diagrams, single line diagrams, P&ID's and communication diagrams) at all Enbridge CDN facilities by: 7 E) e" c: M7 `) j/ @5 f
3 \) C6 b+ n4 Q# A, ~7 I3 F! EManaging critical drawing construction and as-built processes as established within the Enbridge Drawing Standards, ; z+ |* R# m4 k; E
2 |+ u* `0 Q# z" C% B3 ZPerforming site audits with operations personnel to identify existing information gaps and incorporate findings,

$ b4 R. Z0 D9 X2 G) s8 sEngaging with LP, MP and regional operations engineering groups ensuring that critical drawing requirements are properly addressed throughout the project stage gates, & t5 j& w7 x: m
% w- [/ E6 q* s# w/ R" qDeveloping and enforcing a plan to ensure that once critical drawings are made current that they are maintained and kept up to date,

Performing quality assurance checks on 30%, 60%, 90%, IFT and IFC design drawings developed by engineering service providers,

5 J5 n0 b3 \3 T$ x {Leading a group of staff and contract CADD personnel to review and/or prepare detailed drawings that are in compliance with the Enbridge Drawing Standards for assigned engineering and operations projects,

Qualifications
: Q* N' i2 P# c. v5 G& _ Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma from a recognized technical institution. ! l# t# b' m- q1 E$ y5 R+ o
~9 a; d- B, D6 ?1 `( h8 W+ P10+ years of progressively complex detailed electrical design experience in an engineering environment.
' H% O2 f/ d! G" D# W: m2 X' m- }4 U9 i& Q! b% ?3 b
5+ years AutoCAD experience.
* s( a7 \' S0 T8 w! M7 F8 Q y: W
$ V8 [7 x6 W1 \* l4 _2 VRegistered Engineering Technologist (RET) or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) desired. 6 F' y: B% f7 i% H
! h6 i8 o5 f5 v5 L# oExcellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
+ l3 X+ H3 i" }! M% [ t5 J
