有关CLB的考试

大家好,我下个月要参加一个CLB的考试,有哪位朋友参加过考试的请给些建议,不知道主要考的内容和形式是什么样子,还有写作都是关于哪方面的?我应该怎么准备这次考试?

You need to prepare for exams on Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading.
: i, T& S) Z6 j4 I. z$ |  N1 p( j5 iAnyway, it depends on whether you want LINC or ESL program because they have different assessment standard, so before you go, you need to call to make sure you are not going to the wrong department.

Usually, if you say you want LINC, they will give you a lower mark. But it really depend on how good your English is, if you are good enough, they probably will suggest you to go to ESL program.

. b; M4 H8 S% B) e1 \3 ~* i/ Q  `Oh, i forgot to mention that the topic of writing can be anything like : a memorable day or person, talk about your hobbies, or look at a picture and describe the meaning etc.

Anyway, it is not really hard, so just practice speaking, listen to the radio or watch TV, read some newspapers and read some short essays to try to imitate their styles etc.

You can go to the library to get some more ESL resources.
