9 B5 }( Z1 m5 UThe IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.: u8 Y) T- q; Z3 | {! }; V

Responsibilities:
' f2 W- D; [& v- l: V, |1 L§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
6 O! O; }2 `) P/ m2 C/ j! `§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution 2 O+ x" H; w: G) K- C
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation/ j" U, Z4 p3 R6 t. J
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times! D5 d4 P4 r9 P% e7 t
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk5 J. }% Z2 ~- o! {: n% z+ f# d
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience
" Q/ i& ^5 u( }: h p! X§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto).

§ Manage a stable local IT environment

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives& \9 I4 Z. y9 M2 ]* c
§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
0 p! c U) C+ p2 f1 S§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation
+ Y7 f& Z2 y0 P- ~1 v& z5 D§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access

§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
