The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.) I& ~( i1 G# h3 Z+ T6 F+ M8 M0 Q

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers
# J/ K# y4 O" y% f& _§ Provide small systems technical support; troubleshoot problems and either resolve them independently or coordinate third party involvement in resolution + q" x" M% U& U. i8 K/ F3 p) X
§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation
. e7 N7 K7 A8 I3 x§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times. R: r u+ f1 @" l) Z
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk( U; d$ c5 P S' u6 }3 e2 T1 e
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert: @5 y# v0 T1 u. m7 X+ H" n
§ Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external parties/ F* v$ \4 Q; n6 p* p
§ Special projects as required

Qualifications:
- o0 U8 z/ i2 B5 c§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience! Z" A- _# H1 }" T- |
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision4 Y2 r! Z7 l! X* l
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service3 m( t$ q! g9 J! Z0 G
§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues' q/ R2 D! j3 e, w8 l2 ]
§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware

§ Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, install and support computer users with Windows 98/NT/2000/XP in a domain environment, Ethernet, TCP/IP, routers, switches, concentrators, Network Management tools (e.g. virus protection, server monitoring) and with Xerox and /or Lexmark printer problems

[" VThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 2 @ ]' ^3 ?8 s* n# w8 ^

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Reporting to the Director of Finance and management on a monthly basis on status of IT projects and initiatives
' J4 C0 L9 o9 U( h% k0 ^9 W§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
$ I* G+ ]4 b! G- q, ]§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation! b3 L* A9 x, U' L
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access1 q+ e0 s6 z$ z" o/ n X: G
