The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.1 T/ [" F& ]% x8 d2 x" l

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers

§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation9 ^) Q. `7 O' Q# D# }4 n
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times) E. g0 W* c8 a. A* u; Y- m
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk
3 t* J7 a: w! p; F§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

Qualifications:
5 I1 j8 @" h) n+ U& ]- s* h4 I9 x§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience

§ Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills and the ability to work on multiple issues

§ Experience installing, supporting and troubleshooting client desktop software

Position Summary:
% f! f5 `- @, N$ W. u4 BThe IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 6 q$ }% f9 s4 n% a3 }

§ Manage a stable local IT environment

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports

' x5 M' q+ R$ v+ K§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to% U* s6 @8 `6 D0 O

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access
