9 Z. V4 w/ U3 D$ {Responsibilities:
-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program (ages 6 to 15)
; D" W5 n9 J- S, Q, j-        Recruit children for summer programs
4 z0 Q$ A' \5 e+ d& t6 s-        Recruit and train volunteers for summer programs
-        Budgeting and record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
* x9 e- j8 x( ~0 r2 [-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Physical Education and Recreation, Early Childhood Development, or equivalent of experience and education
$ ]3 B2 _% `9 `# g-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
7 Y3 h5 q0 p! Z( [- k& V# C4 i6 x-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
( i- U- a# @4 {+ x% P) ]9 m1 W/ A-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
0 C3 S7 V( ~3 v8 i-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
- D6 K' Y! f4 i6 F/ R-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
" X# D8 P! k. w# T, K- a/ d/ Q-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-        Returning student to post-secondary institution in Fall 2010
-        Have current first aid certificate
  a& f' M0 D, [7 X8 s( }-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:00pm (30 hours/week) in May and June (planning) and 8:30am to 4:30pm (40 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
