( Q B; X+ z# o" AOn Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.

1 a% s2 x& ]6 {8 q1 y+ u5 H. WBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut
" \/ I# {) @- I' R7 b' ^# y4 Gdigging for and examining fossils
. t$ P* U6 x& u# O# W& D0 ~exploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth " Z1 M/ c# u( c9 U$ t
investigating insects

“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.1 I5 s* e( I! \! B

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
