Job description:
. n; j- m, c( a- T1 p/ e- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications
% M/ W% r( D7 ?3 ~2 x+ F- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
9 a9 i" P. j8 u) b5 s4 p- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions
+ J" h# V1 G) e9 C5 X* a5 W% {- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
. V1 u+ d. Q" u- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating
- Tend ovens which cure metal coating
