几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic( C; Q$ Q n$ {, |0 @

这个词sarcastic 和ironic 用法上有什么区别。

ironic:6 \ c6 G7 Z# H' e; d8 G5 z8 }
我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?

ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world. (好容易让我编出这么个例句来!)

还拿如花的例子说,这个情景对话两个词都能用到:* e2 R) m; r$ G6 [& _. |$ K) B
如花: hi 美女
( z( {4 r+ L" ]) Z$ r美女: are you being sarcastic?
7 ~: h; `# {! ?. n) ^如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
/ ?; P% o1 @1 d! K% @; A美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
