Responsibilities: Z U; u- d L$ [# w# }
- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
, [! Z; ?% k& x: P. r- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
; j2 k" I4 ?# K2 Q5 F- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
5 |4 V) d- k9 Z5 y" q: m) I- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs4 f4 L7 M2 u9 D. k8 @
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health4 U6 a f5 O" r+ U# T# U/ n! G

- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences1 ~$ ~$ p1 m$ v$ O0 I
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement4 `5 _- _& y4 R. B* a4 u2 m4 E+ W
- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
, K: F7 d$ f& x- Experience doing program development1 {1 H, r7 G6 z0 @
- Strong organizational and coordination skills+ w! n8 Q0 v4 C3 o( z
- Self-directed and able to take initiative9 V) L7 {8 ]" v) {
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset' o* \3 R! X j' m5 I- [0 r1 ^& i! I
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license$ D. i1 ?8 Q3 M* R3 a

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
