# K# v& D# d1 r% B0 v# b6 Z- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
. x6 c1 H t! g6 O% F9 a# y; `- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling* L+ i0 [, w4 Y# S9 O: M
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups% z" j1 x% Z: q* D! c J
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
8 V% ^, ?; h$ X: L ]$ U `- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health, a) E3 P% e4 }4 j

Key Qualifications:5 y2 K% {! O6 i1 l
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
! S7 Q, ?! R, p3 K- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
& o) c7 \1 T b8 u4 `* T- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
& G1 A2 {5 S& s- _2 i7 j- Experience doing program development9 v) ?7 L0 P- A7 U1 ]* c- R
- Strong organizational and coordination skills- h# h; X; Q4 ^, ]+ G
- Self-directed and able to take initiative2 t/ ?4 }' R& Q$ A
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
& p( I3 I$ Q1 E0 t* D# L0 x( C& b- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license2 g) C% s& {; z% o9 O5 ~; a) H

- Skills in marketing & promotions
