; V$ i0 j' z6 o2 ]% z9 mIntroduce Alberta’s oil sand deposits, ways of producing bitumen, process, explain type of structures for each processing steps, and why maintenance projects are always needed in oil sand companies.
) O, s! g" A- i* ^3 zIntroduce project execution plan, and explain what civil/structural engineers need to do in a project, what are the engineering deliverables in different stages. : A9 b% q1 m- d1 H4 Z% H; m
At last, discuss the structural designs in heavy industry, introduce the types of structures/foundations in heavy industry, design code/specifications/, design deliverables, what should a calculation report include? Some information on detail design, foundation design, dynamic foundation design and modularization design. |
