Due to the unexpected national shortage of the H1N1 vaccine, Alberta Health Services and Alberta Health and Wellness will target immunization to Albertans at high risk.' h+ W" G3 p& B W

Those currently eligible for H1N1 immunization are:

* Children under 10 as of November 1 with chronic health conditions (e.g. diabetes);6 i( ?+ i4 Y* B6 @! c# c. p
* Children over six months and under five years as of November 1; and
' k/ w8 g) Y0 \' D * Pregnant women. A3 B2 m& T7 V1 q% o1 d. s' D
+ i/ @1 X1 H6 A* d8 gOn November 12 and ongoing, new groups being added include:( V! @" D0 @6 K2 t5 O* q' c

* People with chronic conditions aged 55 to 64 as of November 1;% u2 h# N0 z+ f# s$ k/ M
* People with chronic conditions aged 10–17 as of November 1. (Combined with the group added November 6, this group ranges from 5 to 17).
