This role is responsible for the following activities representing site:
- F$ ^. O, z+ M9 B• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
1 G* N" Q8 z4 m. @2 ]• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
" L2 p- w# q- y• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts* H" E `( m' G6 x7 M
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments8 |; T/ i' }9 ~8 m d, S/ J- h
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams2 m! |* P# S4 B7 m3 v$ ]0 z
• Autocad and Microstation drafting3 ^2 _: p- U- ]$ s
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
: U% y5 K9 G3 T) s) |• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
+ k. l; W/ _7 I0 M* a1 P• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data. X& |' F t' _6 Q. n% _) t

; L8 I* j. e* jEducation / Experience
- \4 w. j s ?7 Z• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI, C# Y4 f+ @% y: Z4 s
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator: u8 X2 a8 ~" c$ G( n! c
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered& a# H$ E8 w; F% Y5 {+ ~0 U
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
* b+ X' L6 x3 |7 ?; F! N• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
