Job Duties / Responsibilities
2 {' L4 J" N* V- x8 \5 L2 DThis role is responsible for the following activities representing  site:
; B$ U# u$ q! B  \• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
& P  x& D" P7 J• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
" T- {' R+ T7 g- d- j  ?• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
7 S* Y  J+ l, Y3 S• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams
1 r, U0 E9 W$ z% \• Autocad and Microstation drafting
6 k4 a! s! q; L9 t$ z3 U+ A, @7 }• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
7 r6 S0 P! f4 f• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.


Education / Experience
4 N) U' R5 w7 ]0 r• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
; d/ K5 V( W/ U3 S2 Q$ o2 `+ i4 b: _• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
! m" y* x( {. d  y. o$ |$ B3 ^8 A, O• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
( q9 O( `' |1 Z* r• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset.
