Job Duties / Responsibilities$ a% ?1 ^0 F g6 Z& E% O
This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: 8 @, _+ ^: E& Y. j* ?- C4 S
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
. A6 f2 r% U% x4 n• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel
6 [3 G* y3 @4 B" c• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts7 k! A. S; v7 B) u* U0 h
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments% W4 P( E& C( R# a
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams3 ?0 A: h) t, ^& ? l) F
• Autocad and Microstation drafting/ e6 j6 s! B' s( A' G" r1 K
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
- |% I/ ]4 c: a: Z- u, C• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator8 j) Q. g. n4 u) g# p
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.( [1 r X* N3 F) k: Y O8 E

9 Q7 g- M8 W# ?/ e) G• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI, P( z* P+ A6 H4 V6 Q
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator. D" I) z8 t0 \; ?5 S6 M& B
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered) Z ]) E3 ~3 ~+ m. z7 w4 g, H; x% ?! Q- ^
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required; Q; e! I# q0 @9 H
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset# L c; y1 D& t4 q, h1 Y
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
