This role is responsible for the following activities representing site: / e" x. A( m& _7 H* ]2 z6 ~+ `
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
! P6 K5 t, {4 X, p" g• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel; Y5 v* } Z% f A1 n, T( @2 x
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts
1 f: Q2 a) F+ p• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments
/ r$ ~0 ?& j) H5 E) L: D• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams4 t& `$ ]0 g3 x7 O
• Autocad and Microstation drafting& F' l3 `1 [: c
• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables6 o4 u* Q/ v" l
• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator2 S p+ {& \9 J* A0 |' s9 n
• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.% x# p( q* L" L* I/ |1 w0 c

9 e% z+ y! F( m/ c. HEducation / Experience
A* S R4 }/ H• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI f, c' y5 u9 p" Q
• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator$ u+ }4 Z% ^. B( m( {* U2 ]
• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered. n/ C' s' g" X) A5 R" }& Q- U
• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required I k# H& L8 f* y% O! K7 t
• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset
2 Q/ z+ ^8 w8 Q8 s2 c( D* \• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
