7 d, Z/ J8 I: r, F0 OTHE EDMONTON REGION IMMIGRANT COUNCIL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 24/4 MENTORSHIP PILOT PROGRAM:
24 HOURS OVER 4 MONTHS
This fall, the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) will be launching a mentorship pilot program, where we aim to match skilled immigrants with mentors in their occupations.
Eligibility Criteria
All potential mentee candidates are required to meet the following criteria:
3 {8 B+ O* n) U  Q, a8 W•An internationally educated professional living in Canada for three years or less
# E! \- r& e) ?6 \. ]•Have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post secondary education
& U! k  q2 I8 u$ _% B•Have Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher in oral English
•At least three years work experience in their area of expertise outside of Canada
•No prior Canadian work experience in their field
•Be unemployed or underemployed – working for 20 hours a week or less
•Be eligible to work in Canada
•Have a job ready resume and have completed a job search workshop

) _* ?, Z1 [1 C' F" K•Be motivated to participate and be open to learning

: g2 k5 M$ h& j5 k/ JThe maximum number of hours involved in the ERIEC mentorship program is 6 hours a month for a total of 24 hours over 4 months.  This works out to approximately one and a half hours per week.
