$ Q) j' e- U* QThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

" q8 T  \5 r$ x% |Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
Programs run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

Entrance Criteria
# w2 N4 Y- e' r" r+ d7 h9 nYou must be/have:
• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
1 ?* Y/ |7 F6 z/ M& l9 L• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
& h4 D! J# }' P. |' o' `! E0 v) y• Good health and physical condition
8 S# H  C6 c/ X( J4 `6 a% f• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
* a4 j2 P! M* w. y• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
