Police Service Preparation Program

# k5 M' y7 x- AThis program is for immigrants and members of visible minorities who have an interest in a career in law enforcement.

Start date: November 2, 2009 End date: March 31, 2010.
1 r" f, R) F  C1 vPrograms run from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm
Location: Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers, 8914 118 Avenue

You must be/have:
  |$ v! W2 v4 Z3 N. S7 ?' h• Alberta High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Unemployed or underemployed
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Good moral character
5 c( y/ J9 B; A2 G3 e8 _• Good health and physical condition
• Good written and verbal communication skills – must be at a CLB 6+
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
• No criminal convictions for which a pardon has not been granted
