Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.* @8 I% D2 \. q6 U

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.1 I! `: t6 P% {- h9 @; e0 K

) H; b' J* j# K1 O. O$ O! I•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
( r0 x5 k  M' ^( E; T•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings & |/ B% c1 [# @# z( H
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach $ E; b: E7 H7 M# K/ f
•        Promoting TBL products and services
) n% z- m% ]6 l* e- G  L& B•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance 8 i* l0 F0 o& l/ g
•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables " F  Z  N+ c+ q, `
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta
: k% T5 V9 v) J2 B  S5 s•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry
/ F3 }# w/ H; ?1 M$ W3 N•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program

8 b3 h5 S$ t. z' X•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office

# M7 j" k  h- A1 R# s# M•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience / f. p2 x4 Q2 f$ C
•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling$ S$ i; n6 @7 [- a* ^
•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.

Skills8 U. x) j+ S) w) i8 c4 y: z

        Strong work ethic
0 R. {6 H! n: f$ g6 K        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter
. C% c3 O' i7 j' u( }$ W        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
* q2 C8 \. ]& k9 ?" x7 R        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions

        Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking abilities
