Job Duties / Responsibilities

! D, I$ l6 y( @8 h• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an
6 K0 e1 }, q9 Y" A( @7 R, r: _( }# g' @distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.
$ k) I* l. t2 v" @: c• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right
place (person), at the right time, for the right cost.
* x7 M: }! F, I4 {3 S6 p7 @" [0 J• Preserves materials.
• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
' ?& ~7 Z: U4 K' z+ |5 E4 e• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
# ^: _( k4 v$ |/ I• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
) J& L% J+ z; n2 i8 D/ r• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
8 [' [: l; U7 i  D5 b7 L0 B• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
, @% H5 `9 Y( d, Y+ r• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
/ T3 R$ h% ~7 \: t8 h7 s• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
) u$ Y2 V( ~* f0 l6 q/ ?• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
5 X* d1 }8 P+ j8 L! W! a& e5 U9 }• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
- v' C0 g0 d* L2 p) }) O  F• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
! U' ]. O$ H4 Q) N0 I# a• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
' @, W! ^1 |5 ]; X$ r* Eresolution.
+ H7 B2 m6 a% M1 }8 v• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
" z1 r- x; q- U% w  \. d• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
* |3 q! ?; A2 l- M) y7 G' g• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
+ n' ?0 t5 ^9 _6 n% F! b$ ~# g8 C4 m! J• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
8 ~/ y4 J9 @: }3 d' y; ^6 h• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
/ Y/ k7 {4 j( ]9 [; R( N6 k3 y• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
3 N6 }4 Q% o' _* B: q- b1 @6 R) X• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

3 o( R7 d# R: w$ {6 `9 |* oEducation / Experience
( W5 u: M, m  [2 e• Grade 12 / GED.
( P3 @, {( n0 j& n$ v& K7 M$ S* W• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
" S3 f; d+ `+ _- B' j- c. s1 q• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
