Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
3 Z8 S2 j' ]9 L) H• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

9 `! ~' [* m( X• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.

# q/ u% _0 s6 x• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
5 X7 c6 g5 _7 P. E• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
0 l1 A0 `; p: `3 W% E3 U8 R• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
6 y1 q; Y4 G8 S- h9 ~1 n. f• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
! z" I* Z3 ^' \6 A' b3 }• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
6 B! J. j/ _8 r& L" S8 `& ^• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
6 H& I, v1 `  ^3 [; A, D• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
2 n& l" }0 V* b• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
& E1 ^9 F1 {" Hresolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
+ h1 F, [* j( G2 {8 w" e• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
* b, K' Y# H2 y+ N! z% D• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
; j7 M/ @) C  ~, d2 g7 ^; M• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
8 L1 h2 H  J$ ~3 q% _, S5 `• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
# x5 n$ @8 T8 ~0 @• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
( B, R+ G, O8 q$ g1 h$ s( v0 x7 _• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
4 \! e6 `0 ~5 F9 s) S6 n9 m• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
  Z- ~0 O8 F6 w9 V3 U6 s• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.

Education / Experience
6 v: v1 O: Q+ R" o7 W, P- Q* P6 E• Grade 12 / GED.
9 f% h9 p+ O$ @7 e  g. E• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
6 ~. E: Y5 u& {) n3 l% h" \) i+ P• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
