We are seeking an organized self starter to support plant and field maintenance for assigned production equipment. Work shifts available are a 5-2 or 4-3 rotation (depending on the individual's preference). On-call duties are covered on a rotational basis.

5 g3 c* o* x, q1 y; ]. s" wJob Duties / Responsibilities
• Perform routine day to day and emergency maintenance activities on electrical equipment;
• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support on equipment in a timely manner;
1 M9 N5 `0 p" c9 o• Work individually or together with other skilled trades on planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs;
# [8 U6 m, j" c$ m• Work with engineering and construction groups on the design, construction, and commissioning phases of new projects;
• Assist in the planning, execution, and start up phases of area turnaround activities;
• Assist with the development of short and long term maintenance strategies and plans;
9 [9 {, g/ n2 b+ u% r• Strive to keep current on emerging technologies;
• Ensure all electrical drawings are kept up to date, reflecting changes made in the field;
• Ensure strong commitment to safety and environment on all work performed;
+ U0 X" ?8 M8 ?2 Q, s6 V0 M# v• Ensure industry and corporate standards are followed on all installations;
! h6 ]  A1 c' G0 T• Participate in the Process Safety Management programs in the areas of HAZOP, Equipment Integrity, Risk Management, Operating Procedures, Management of Change, and Incident Investigation;
• Assist with Contractor management and supervision as required.

Education / Experience
1 Q( w3 j2 Y7 z* Q+ t2 B5 G) f• Minimum of 5 years oil and gas electrical maintenance experience;
• Journeyman Electrical Tradesperson certification;
• Dedicated team player;
" n& f1 a% H3 d/ P• Strong problem solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• Good PC knowledge.

我在国内的工厂里做了十几年的电气工程师，在大学读的是电机专业。（哈尔滨电工学院电机专业，79届）。2006年8月份考了个电工证。在多伦多的一家工厂做了一年半的设备维护工作。去年8月至今，在Edmonton西边的一家工厂做电工。
