) D* {- I4 z. c3 v6 ]skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
9 v/ q- n% l& sprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
: q. z/ @- }: hexperience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
' \0 v$ y% B' V- a0 q. D. xwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
) C0 y" Z; p3 }services and others.

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian
2 p5 {' q* T' m( Z* Ncitizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
: g, X$ V3 a( A# L# H8 O/ g* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB& C, s8 q5 Q" `/ S8 L' L+ X7 D
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-6 s' h! G/ G: \ c
secondary education
& Y! O0 d& C# u @* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand: Q# i: }) X* ?. I/ b
