- ]$ Y0 n0 p& P8 o% c8 GIntegrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential
4 k$ m- c& K; [! Eskills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
( ]: z) ~1 R4 m' m2 n, D9 |/ Tprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
services and others.

+ c* K) T6 H- a6 o9 ACandidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian
; T  k( y/ \# J% B) j! lcitizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
% u& R/ k, _' Z+ b) C9 `# O+ }*        English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
*        Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
secondary education
*        A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand
occupation
" {( {5 }1 X& d6 j  o9 p+ `*        Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed
*        Willingness to commit to a program and future job
7 L5 \* D' ~2 g' Q( L*        Resided in Alberta for the past 3 months

Program Description:
3 X3 X1 G3 D1 f% b/ ]; J# s- b! w
                        *        4 months classroom-based instruction and
field trips
+ ?- q& T+ @7 J7 a  c        *        Improve your English while learning about a variety of
high-demand occupations
$ ]& ]5 d" [) O' k! c        *        Increase computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Internet, etc.)
        *        Write a winning resume and improve interview skills
        *        Get First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certificates
! c0 ?  {3 T9 \' [8 `% A% ^$ u8 z7 g  F        *        Take advantage of one-on-one employment counseling
) T0 a  ~) l% J, W$ b" K; i) @9 I                        *        1 month work-experience placement

Class Schedule and Location:
