( b* h# I1 g" V! W9 f) bskills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
. }9 w, q1 R" P' R* ^ h2 yprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
) A6 u6 I+ N& D4 nexperience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
. r) n3 C9 Z4 y# R/ @# @warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food: s( D( `1 w! m/ ~
services and others.

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian
\% i, O- k) p& `/ ~$ C fcitizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
# S; [$ Z; F ^' y* w- J* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB. T/ n0 K- V& o; q! m
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
+ ~4 g9 G; R3 y0 Q4 Z8 csecondary education7 H |2 l2 k, ^8 o! v
* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand# ^5 |+ V& F7 @1 o+ t+ h% u; b
