A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors/ v) f: k+ E7 G; H0 a) j
• Answer multi line telephone system* [7 V! F) b! `0 W7 ?' |5 L* v
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries4 ]3 }8 ^' ]6 ?' J. G# f# ^# m
• Arrange courier services for all departments

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail4 |% @1 L! i- K# ]: R" i
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
. d7 G8 H& P5 \' x7 M1 e6 A• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency % p8 ~* `1 O7 Z1 N; f" j1 ^* h! z
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration: U G& N- a- O
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers $ Y# U# W2 W2 v( T/ Z0 ?. t
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution) V9 B2 t0 y2 w
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments " } S7 y) K% G# N8 {
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training3 R5 A7 G0 w1 l

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
+ S Y7 ~) [+ |8 a, `• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint./ k! t4 w, l. [! \! n% O
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
