A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries

• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

Administration
0 u9 P$ f$ q! V, Q# G, U• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail2 g) c8 ]: R; j0 M
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
* K8 u& x+ D3 n" J! J D0 V• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency : _6 Z1 R& K B& @; H7 Z3 X* W$ r
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
* T. w1 c, O7 ~' Y6 W' t3 P* Q• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
: N2 z: Q E4 k, V) K2 E c& f& x• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

Qualifications:7 ~! D2 j5 M" ~' y' `# S4 J

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures( x1 L, D8 O& f. g/ @
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.+ {- B, H1 K( V' m. r
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
