A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors; X5 j+ O1 X% J4 h( ]
• Answer multi line telephone system4 x2 [1 t( q, N# G$ G& B5 |
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries* D j9 D& C {0 |
• Arrange courier services for all departments0 f+ f$ o+ [9 u+ X
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers* Q# ?8 b& v) U5 Q

Administration
' c8 l; |* U- q2 s• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail- t) W" v* s \0 W+ J O5 W/ q
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries- M( c9 T8 A. M# x
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 7 ?$ e4 D6 F' Z3 _3 a4 O& T
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
' v5 R/ s. t. L* q$ o( V• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers * ^8 H+ w) P9 \
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution+ G* x& o0 T' @5 n. o5 S |4 V1 Y2 d( [
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
! w; L; R0 b, d! \( B7 F1 R: N• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.3 q' a1 H* M+ p$ j
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
& O/ X9 u9 X& Q) _• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
